About Us

Detox Boca and its affiliated partners have been providing detox, treatment and structured sober living environments for over 25 years.

At the Detox Boca, located in an affluent Boca Raton neighborhood, we provide you with the best outpatient detox possible. Detoxing from multiple drugs and alcohol can be life threatening. Health hazards such as stroke, psychotic episodes, heart attack, and more are likely to occur, especially with multidrug use. Alcohol and other drugs are central nervous system depressants, as well. Withdrawal is a traumatic process the body and brain must move through to rid itself of toxins. Withdrawal is more than painful and uncomfortable it is dangerous, if left unsupervised.

Our detox facility is open 24/7 ensuring your medical safety and comfort. You don’t have to wait to start your detox. Our medical director will evaluate your physical state and establish a protocol to help you comfortably manage the withdrawal symptoms.

We also closely monitor all our clients’ vitals by regularly checking them throughout the day, as clients come and go. The Medical director does several re-evaluations during the course of the detox ensuring client comfort and stability. Our certified behavioral health technicians are on staff 24/7 helping attend to your needs whenever you arrive.

Once clients are stable, they attend group at least once a day. At the end of the detox process, our psychiatrists will do a psychosocial evaluation to work up a treatment protocol. Because of our associations, we offer continuity of care. Clients move seamlessly from detox to treatment. No breaks!! Continuity of care increases clients’ chances for long term recovery.

Detox is the first step in overcoming substance abuse and mental health disorders. Detox is not a substitute for treatment. Those who move from detox to treatment have a greater chance of succeeding in recovery.
